Welcome to Old School Surfboards.  As a mechanical engineer, I decided to put my education towards a more enjoyable craft.  I have been living in the Jacksonville area for the last 10 years, and I have been surfing on and off for the past 27 years.  I started designing and building hollow wood surfboards in early 2011.  I have always been interested in surfing, composite materials and working with my hands. Building hollow wood surfboards allows me to combine these interests and enjoy my passion for surfing.
